Help, No Sound

Hi, turned my phone on today and there is no sound coming from the speaker. The ear speaker works fine as does the headset but nothing from the main speaker. Does anyone know of anything I can do? Thanks

Wired Headphone Routing Fix


There is an issue with a lot of Android phones where the OS thinks the headphone is being plugged in and unplugged on its own.


I have rooted 4.0.4 AOKP and it still occured. The app should include older versions of Android shortly as soon as Google Play shows my latest changes.

this post is so old I have forgotten what the solution was. I assume it was a bad speaker as the Droid Incredible had some that were bad. I replaced the speaker and it has been working fine. thanks
