help! my market wont work

[droid x root]

i am on lbg v0.9 and i tried to download the new market (3.0.26) and it wouldn't install over the new one. so i deleted my market and then tried again. this time it would download but now it just force closes every time :/ any advice or has someone had this problem?

Try deleting the market data/cache and fixing permissions.

i just tired this, it worked for like 2 seconds then stopped unexpectedly....
