help led not working

Help I just fot my s3 today got it all up and running and noticed that my led only comes on when phone is booting up when its charging nothing low bat nothing notification nothing please help I like having the led

Go to:

Settings - - > Display - - > LED indicator.


Make sure notification boxes are checked.

I'm probably just going to live with it not working I did a factory reset still don't work

Exchange it. If you just bought it I'm sure it has some form of warranty.

Yeah thats definitely not normal. I'd say now is the time to switch it out since you just got it, before you REALLY have everything set up to just the way you want and app data that'll be a pain to back up. Sounds like a hardware issue so just call up VZ and I'm sure they'll issue an overnight replacement.

Did you install any apps which control the color of the LED (e.g. Light Flow)? They have been known to cause problems on the S3.

No it was all stock mo apps called vzw today they sending new phone should have it tomorrow
