HELP!! I cannot make any connection, either thru internet or call

I got a unlocked Droid2 Global from e-bay today. But with it, I can't make any connection with the outside either thru calling people, receiving call, nor internet.
When I was calling out, it said "welcome to Verizon Wireless" and asked me to pay with credit card, but my carrier is T-Mobile and it's and unlocked phone.
When I was making incoming call back to my phone, I don't receive anything and it put me to voice mail.
I was also trying connecting to the internet but it keep searching for the IP address without responding.

p.s. I checked the phone status, it said that the Mobile Network Status is Disconnected.

AFAIK an unlocked Droid 2 Global will only work on GSM networks outside the US.
