Hey guys, so I'm kinda worried cuz I need to bring in my Droid X for fixing but I don't know how to remove a custom ROM off. I have Fission Vanilla 2.1 on and Bootstrap Recovery, so how do I get back to the stock ROM? PLEASE ANYONE TELL ME. I AM DESPERATE PLEASE
Can you give me specific instructions please? I don't know how to do that....and I tried doing some weird stuff but it came out MD5 mismatch so pleasepleaseplease help
Boot into cm recovery and scroll down to backup and restore and enter that menu and then choose restore. Its a little easier with rom manager if you have that.
I don't know what that error message specifically means so maybe one of the rescue squad guys can help but if you can't restore your backup for whatever reason you can always sbf back to stock with rsd.
I was just driving home from school, you really need to calm down its not a good idea to work on your phone when your this frantic especially when its something new to you. Give me a few minutes to get settled in and dig up some links for you.
