[HELP] Cannot get CM10 install to Boot with SafeStrap

I am not sure if this is the right forum, so here goes.

I am trying to install CM10 on my RAZR MAXX. I am using the tutorial found here. I am using SafeStrap instead of CWM. These are the steps I follow:

1. Boot into SafeStrap
2. Turn on SafeStrap Mode
3. Wipe data/cache
4. Install CM10 .zip from SD card
5. Install GApps .zip from SD Card
6. Reboot

I am not sure what it means by "select kernel files to install". I see nothing for that anywhere. Once I reboot, it shows the SafeStrap boot options, I choose to Continue to System and then my phone resets and show the menu again. It never boots into CM10. If I disable SafeStrap mode, it boots right back into my stock ICS.

I would imagine the problem is you are deviating from the instructions and using Safestrap. There is probably a reason this build requires CWM and they said to use that, as with most other ROMS require SafeStrap so they say to use that because it won't work with bootstrap.

So if you are committed to installing this, the next step would be to flash back to stock and installed CWM and try again.

A few of the links I found that pointed to that article said to use Safestrap. I found a version that has setup instruction that use a different ROM and tell you to use Safestrap, so I am going to try that one.

It worked, but I cannot get my 4G to work right. My 3G only sometimes work.

I was under the impression you had to do 3 wipes
1) delete all user
2) format system
3) wipe cache
