New member here - used the site a few times to find some issues - Have droid incredible - hoping to go to razr maxx or whatever has the best battery life when contract is up in october 12'.

Welcome! Yeah the Maxx is definitely where it's at on the battery life now, but by October, who knows what will be out...

I think the maxx has shown MOTO what people want and hopefully started new trend. I bet we see a lot more phones by MOTO and other makers following this trend. Also there's a flexible screen patent out now... that could really change things in the phone world.... add that in with Intel getting its chips in the smart phone arena.... this next few years will be exciting IMHO.

The cell phone world is ever-changing and I bet there are several great things out by then...if you were getting the phone this week, I would say the Maxx for sure but I am biased (kinda )...

Thanks for the welcome - I hope there are alternatives to the maxx by then but I think that phone is pretty darn solid spec wise. Obviously I'd need to have one to see - I've been happy with the incredible but i'm a big guy and want a bigger phone with more capabilities and I especially want a dockable phone - droid incredible doesn't have a mainstream dock that i've found - would like to use my phone as alarm clock.
