Hey guys I'm new to this forum and I jist got my first Android th ev thunder bolt! So any advice or friendy tips plzz also I hear "rooting" alot on the forums and I was wondering what it is thanksssa

Thanks for the quick responses so rooting is liikke jail breaking? And also i got swype on my TB and it was working but with the auto space not working but then i shut my phone off for the night and now its not working at all :[

yes rooting is term used for android. as far as swipe, did u reboot/pull battery? or u can try uninstall/reinstall swype again

absolutely! but depending what u really wanna do, there's pros and cons. most normal ppl (hahaha) root so they can tether

Ok well what are the tasks if you mess up? And can you..."unroot" the phone?

#1 it voids ur warranty.
so if something weird happens to ur phone u can't just take it back to the store with a rooted phone. and yes if in one of ur links u have for the TB is z4 u can unroot with one touch/click.

I was reading thru it and yes I believe its possible since its now available for the TB. do u have Astro files downloaded
