Hello, world (of Droid users!)

Hi guys, been the proud owner of a Droid 2 for a few days now and wanted to have a little more control and customization over it, but turns out that the Droid 2 isn't even rooted yet. So, you guys are going to have one hard core lurker around these parts until it's figure out.

On a side note, what /can/ I do with the Droid 2? It doesn't even seem like I can snatch up some of these wicked themes that are around since they all require ROMs.

Yeah, themes cannot be applied till root is acquired. You could try a home replacement app like ADW or LauncherPro. Those could give you a little change and better performance than the stock home screen app.

I'll take a look. I'm a sucker for customization and everything I get my hands on I try to customize as much as I can. Also, where would an announcement be posted when root for Droid 2 is found? Like, which forum should I be watching? Just don't want to miss anything when it does happen.
