Hello to all!! Recent calls list question

I'm new here, so thanks in advance to all for your assistance.
I came across a situation where I was on my phone(galaxy S7) and at the same time, wanted to view my recent calls list to retrieve a phone number.
Can this be done? Anyone know how?

Try pressing home button, open phone app, then recent calls

Welcome to the Forum @Rsbones [emoji106]. I think it depends on the Dialer app (phone app) on your phone. On my phone, when I am already on a call and tapping Home > Dialer (phone) brings up a menu to Open ongoing call, end call, etc. I think this all depends on your phone model and what it's Dialer app has built into it.
