Hello all, I stumbled upon this thread by accident so I should introduce myself as a noob member.

I'm Ray, have the GN and this is the first phone I've rooted. Been learning android-eze since my Eris several years ago. Admittedly, I am enjoying this new adventure into learning with the whole ROM process.

Can anyone point me to an appropriate thread for learning basics and asking noob questions? I have a "few"

And there really isn't a specific "noob" thread. The best thing to do is if you have questions do a quick search and see if someone else had and asked it before you or just go ahead and ask.
