I'm already pretty familiar with Android, but a little extra knowledge never hurts! I am currently using an LG Ally running 2.2.1 with root access. I'm glad to be a part of this forum.

Not sure, honestly i've never used a custom ROM. I had a friend of mine root it for me too so i'm not even sure how to do that. But, i'd like to know...
