As a new member of DroidForums.net I just wanted to introduce myself to everyone. My names Jesse, I come from Staten Island, New York and I'm the proud owner of a Droid X. I joined DroidForums to talk to other owners of the Droid X and any other android phone and learn new things to add to my phone. I just recently rooted my X, and I also run LauncherPro. I just bought Gameboid which is pretty cool, and im looking into some more new ROM's but i'm pretty new at ROM's and being rooted so if anyone could point me in the right direction I would appreciate it. If you guys have any questions or cool apps, ROM's or themes for the Droid X feel free to message me or leave a comment about it. Thanks guys

Welcome to the forum. I just got my DX a month ago, have not rooted yet but I am running LP.
I have z4root, but am waiting for more info before taking this jump foward.
I will be following this thread to hopefully learn enough to be comfortable with rooting. Interested in themes and roms.

Thanks for replying guys i wasnt even sure if i was doing it right, draneo iused z4root myself it worked flawlessly dont be scared to do it - but make sure you reboot your phone so everything gets cleared then do it - its opens a whole new world trust me i was nervous at first too but its literally fool proof and you could unroot it at any time man do it!
