new to the forums. just wanted to give a big hello to all droid lovers! im a few days into my droid experience and already im reading about "newer/better" equipment coming out. someone please assure me the droid will last me a few years!!! also are there any multi-touch games for this darn thing?! seems like droid got the shaft on multi-touch.

Welcome to the Droid world. I'm also not much of a gamer so I can't help you out. There's always going to be a new phone coming out, but I think all Android phones will have lasting appeal, so don't sweat it. The market also is only now starting to grow because the android platform really hasn't been around all that long. Developers are going to start noticing where their $$ will come from so they'll be jumping soon on the development of their products on the android platform. Just hang in there.
