helix launcher blows

switched back to regular home and realized how much snappier it is..

Clark, I just checked again and I notice no difference between helix and the stock screen. Stickin with helix.

"Yes it is, it's a bit nipply out. I mean nippy out, what did I say, nipple? Huh, there is a nip in the air. "

You're in the minority with that opinion. I'm sure it all depends on what speed you're running the cpu at. I run at 1.2ghz and the helix1 launcher is just as snappy as the stock launcher when running at the same speed.

are you guys rooted and overclocked that see no difference? home screens just seemed more laggy for me. also the four bottom icons by the launcher were not very responsive for me.. force closes sometimes...

I haven't had ONE force close since I started using Helix, the bottom icons work great, and its super fast with no lag.

I am overclocked @ 1ghz right now.

Helix 1 is the shiznit. I am running UD 8.1.1 overclocked 1ghz... it only FCs when I first turn on my phone, and I just have to hit wait and it instantly loads. Never had ANY issues with it. Love it.

non rooted here, running the 1.3 beta 2, (donated).

since 1.2 off the market, I've had a few FC's, nothing major.

I'd suppose it depends on ROM and speed as well.

Nope, I just think you fail. I'm on a stock, non-rooted Droid with many, many apps and several widgets on 7 screens and have no noticeable lag compared to the stock launcher.

Helix FTW.
