So, my fiancee and I both have droid x's and for insurance we pay like 16 bucks a month. After we pay that, to get a new phone if our current ones break, we have to pay another 100 dollar deductible or what ever the deductible is. I am picking up a used X for 120 bucks and that is with the docking station. Pretty good deal I think. Now we can drop the insurance and I still have an extra DX incase I break my current one. Smart thinking FTW!!!

Yeah. This is why it's only worth having insurance if you bought a just-released device. If you buy when it's already been out for six months to a year, it's a complete ripoff.

I just wish i would of thought of this sooner. I could of saved a bunch more money. Oh well, you live and learn right.

They need a vanishing deductible like all state for phones xD insurance is ridiculous imho!
