Hi,

I just tried to use my headphone jack and unless I have to do something special I'm not aware of, it doesn't work. I have music playing, plug in my headphones, and the phone speaker keeps playing and the headphones are silent.

Is there something I'm not aware of, or do I need a new phone?

Thanks!

Check to see if your headphone plug is inserted all the way and maybe try another pair of headphones. If it still doesn't work, get a new phone.

Yeah, it's plugged in. I had also tried my car's aux jack - no luck. Just called verizon... they're sending a new phone.

Mine wasn't working either. Come to find there was a ball of lint in the bottom of the port. A pair of little tweezers (I'm sure a paperclip would work too) and 10 seconds later it was good to go lol

I hate to say it as the owner of a D1 and D3 but the headphone jacks on these phones suck. They wear out quickly if you actually use them.
