Having trouble rooting my X

ADB installed.

Open command prompt and type "adb devices"
adb is not recognized as an internal or external command, operable program or batch file.

Any ideas what i might be doing wrong?

Yeah im having trouble with the commands.

you probably dont have the device connected properly. look at step 2 and make sure u have the drivers installed
