Having problem Rooting Droid 2 Global

This is my last effort after trying to get help I used many root programs all failing to gain read write access and root.

My Specs are

Droid 2 Global

System ver 4.5.629.A956
Android Ver 2.3.4
8gb sd card installed

Got this device two days ago and I tried to root with superoneclock and dans one click ver 1.6 and also downloaded gingerbreak.apk to device which only shows spinning wheel for 20 mins did nothing. Dans inicated that it failed on step 3 not able to gain root access. Pulled battery and rebooted same issue.
. Any help would be appricated.

The problem is you are on the latest Motorola Over-The-Air (OTA) update, .629

.629 was security patched to be unrootable, only the .609 and older updates can be rooted with the methods we have.

Unless, or until, someone finds an exploit you cannot root your phone.
