Haven't gotten update for Froyo

Ok so I am new to smartphones and don't know a great deal about them. I haven't received my system update to my phone yet and I was wondering if there is a easy way that even I wouldn't be able to screw up to upgrade to Android 2.2 on my Droid. Thanks in advance

If you don't plan on rooting you won't get it for awhile. The OTA was delayed until further notice

Although I haven't done this yet, if you go to http://www.droidforums.net/forum/droid-general-discussions/66044-official-froyo-rollout-thread.html there is a link so you can install it manually. No root required.
