Has anyone been pulled over for watching football while driving?

I have my D2G mounted on a car dock. Is it possible to get ticketed while watching football and driving if I'm not touching the phone?

Shouldn't you be driving while driving and not watching football? There's a handy new invention called the radio. You should check it out.

Yes you can be pulled over for that, but that cop must have a good eye if they know it's the game and no GPS.

that being said, please don't make such a dumb move and do that. The roads are dangerous enough with people not looking at their phones. You may be a good driver, but it's the other people you need to watch out for. Just get home safely and then you can watch the game.

I don't know if there's any federal laws making it illegal, but most states have laws prohibiting it.

I personally think it should be a suspended license situation.

I was gonna try it one time but then I realized I was busy doing something else, I can't remember what it was though............oh yeah now I remember, I was busy watching the road in front of me so I didn't die or kill anyone else.

You could keep the screen off and listen to the game if your local radio isn't carrying it.

Keep pants on ppl. I only tried it because it happens to be free this month and watching a live game on my phone is new to me. Wondered what it would be like. Turns out, the quality for the audio only stream is MUCH better.

Yes the quality isn't too great, but it's better than nothing. Unless you have 4g, which you don't, the video is watchable, but expect some lag and definitely some choppiness.

I know watching a live game on your phone is new to you, but asking this type of question when you're supposed to be driving was indeed a silly question. There's no way we can stop you, but we definitely don't agree with it. Stay safe on the road and enjoy the NFL app!

Unless you have a slingbox .. :D But... personally I dont even think anyone should be allowed to talk on the phone while driving, unless hands free, and everytime I see someone talking on their phone I lay on the horn until they are out of sight...

Be careful , I'm a really good driver with lots of hours on street and circuit , I've been driving on the most dangerous roads in the world without an incident , always watching the trafic around me and even avoided some rear impacts that woud have got most of the people . I only had one accident and that was because I was starting to think I'm a good driver and I can avoid anything so I started messing with my smartphone , I was just looking for a split second at the screen to get directions and a split second was enough to hit another car , no messing with the phone anymore , learned my lesson the hard way .

Look what not paying attention where you are driving can do to you , even if the road seems clear .

It's not legal and it is dangerous to everyone else on the road, only a very selfish person would put children and everyone else on the road at risk to watch a football game!!!!

Yeah..cuz road rage is much better than talking on a phone....

O.p. if you dont have any wrecks or tickets for moving violations....i say go for it..... messing with a phone for music, video, gps....whatever is no different than changing a cd orr adjusting temp settings on you ac. Its just not as politically correct is all. In the 20s the politically correct push was against windshield wipers because it distracted drivers.....lol.

I text, i have earbuds in my ear listening to music or the audio of the video im watching. I routinely make an hour commute , and i will watch looney tunes from youtube. My droid is on a mount that is in my center ventso everyone in the front or back seats can watch

Watching a cartoon is no different than watching the gps screen. And noone hear would argue against the gps feature being used

Hey, never said anything about road rage, I'd post a link here if it wasn't inappropriate but anyways.. laying on the horn on someone whos sitting at a green light while there on their phone gets the message across more then it induces road rage, especially when its illegal where you are. I'd rather someone got out of their car and confronted me instead of talking on their phone and hitting a kid on a bike. I'm not endorsing road rage by any means, but talking on your phone, especially when it's illegal, shows both signs of selfishness, arrogance and ignorance of the law when there are signs posted with a pic of a cell phone crossed out. No one has ever gotten out of their car to 'confront' me. Bottom line is, pay attention to what your doing, not to who your talking to.. horns are put in a car for a purpose, to alert others of hazards (But I guess more frequently used to get the guy in front of you to move).. Sometimes people just have to stand up for what they think is right...and I don't think blasting my horn at someone who has no respect for the law or the safety of others isn't going to far, maybe it will get it through their thick skulls..
