Handscent question

I would refer to the handscent website, but it's not very helpful. Currently when I get a text message, in my notification bar it shows I have a handscent text message and text message through the pre-loaded text app. I know its not a big deal, because I can just clear them both, but is there anyway I have handscent only notifications?

Open up "messaing" the one that came up on the phone. hit the menu button then settings. Uncheck the notifications box and it will not show up on the bar.
