Handcent!

Although I am new to the Droid, I tried out Handcent and it seems significantly better on a number of fronts than the default txt app.

I installed the Handcent Keyboard as well. Two questions...

1. Does the 2.01 OS natively provide T9, or just the Handcent Keyboard app?
2. Where is the Keyboard app? I don't see it listed in the app list. How would it be uninstalled if I wanted to chuck it?

1. No native T9 on Droid... so keep Handcent for that.
2. The T9 keyboard was a downloaded add on right (Handcent keyboard)? Just go to your market, and uninstall the downloaded app. It'll be gone then

If you uninstall the Handcent keyboard make sure you only remove that app (the add on)... don't delete the Handcent SMS. The keyboard doesn't have it's own 'app' listing in the applications list on the phone because it's an add on to Handcent SMS.
