^^ first thing that popped into my head. I always set my Droid on it's head, and lean it against a hard/solid surface, the aocustics(sp?) are typically pretty amazing by doing that one little thing.

Reminds me of my own camping trip a few years back. We had a evdo card with us but barely got any signal. Amazingly this actually gave us enough signal to get a decent download rate (without it we could barely connect)

This was our v2...which used a stick inside the tin foil for stability
