GV update not working?

I've been searching around the web for an answer for this but I can find nothing on it. I updated my GV app this morning and I've read that everyone is saying how great and fast it is, however, this is not my experience.

I ve been receivng my message later than normal. I just got a message smeone send like an hour ago. and earlier i couldn't even send one out sayng the network is down. has anyone else experienced this?

uninstall the app, reboot the phone, then reinstall the app. will prolly fix it

Lol much to my suspicion, it actually worked! less delay but the app acts sluggish like when i tap it it is slow to respond, true to you also? or no?
