GTalk contacts disappeared

My GTalk contacts have disappeared.

I went into Settings>Accounts, clicked on my Google Account and my "sync" contacts had a red exclamation mark on it.

So i unchecked it and rechecked it and now it has a green check mark.

But when I go back to my GTalk, the contacts are still missing.

Any ideas?

Maybe I can just remove my Google account all together and re-add it. Haven't gotten that brave yet.

This happens on my PC, not my phone for some reason. On my PC all my contacts on are on GTALK, but when I go on my laptop and open up GTALK, some contacts are missing? It's weird.

To fix your issue, try a "Phone Reset".

This just happened to me. I bought my Droid the first week they came out in Nov. 09. Suddenly my contacts all disappeared, including phone log and favorites. Went into a Verizon store. They managed to reset the phone and restore my contacts but all my apps etc are gone (at least for now). I am getting a new phone this week...will see what happens.
