Hi everyone! I've been lurking that last few days and learning about the Droid and decided that this would be a great forum to belong to.

Currently I have a BB, but my NE2 is available on 1/4.:icon_ banana:
I can't wait to get my hands on the Moto Droid and get the Eris for my wife.
I've been waiting for VZ to get a device like this for a while.

First, Welcome to the forums!!

I can almost guarantee you that Verizon will let you upgrade early. Plus currently you can get the Eris for free, I'm not sure this will be the case after the holidays.
