Just want to say hi to everyone and glad to find this community.

I'm wondering, however, how do you rename ringtones?

One easy way to rename a ringtone is to use an app called RingDroid. Open the tone, and Save. It'll ask you for a new name of it, and offer to save it as a ringtone, notification, or alert tone.

Plus, with Ringdroid, you can edit your music into ringtones right on the handset- it's a snap.

Oh yeah... welcome to the forums!

I already downloaded it, should have realized I could use that to rename. Thanks!

I've only had the Droid for a couple of days, but I'm really liking it much better than the LG Dare it replaced.

Well, I downloaded RingDroid, but I can't seem to access my downloaded ringtones. I can see all the ones that are standard with the phone, but none of downloaded ones.

What am I doing wrong?
