GPS/Navigation Issue

I have had my Razr maxx basically since the phone came out and I love it.
One issue though, for about 2-3 months now, but I have one issue
My navigation takes a very long time to start "navigating" me. I have no issue searching for the location that I want to go, but once I ask for navigation it says searching for location at the top for about 10-15 minutes then once it says location set it takes another 5-10 minutes for the on screen navigation to recognize where I am and start giving me directions.
Is there any fix for this?

Get the app GPS Doctor! I had same problem, and I got this app and now it takes 2-3 seconds for it to connect. I was skeptical at first, but the son of gun worked!

I tried the GPS doctor and it worked...kinda. After one or two times it seems to not be helping anymore. I have had this problem ever since owning my Maxx. One of many reasons I'm switching over to the other iSide.

Fix slow GPS issue

If you are rooted, you can replace the "gps.conf" with the one in this posting: (see the ninth comment)

I didn't believe it could be this simple but I tried it and it worked. And it is still working several weeks later.
