Check your E-mail, Google is evidently starting to send out invites. I got one today from Google (noreply@google.com) and I already have google voice.

Same thing happened to me about a week ago. Google sent me an invite, but I already had an account (bought one on eBay for 2 bucks).

Just ordered the Droid for me, Eris for my wife. Should be here Monday. Anyway I have learned much about android and current tech here. Now for the begging, any spare invites to throw my way?
