This is the only thread from now on that you will post your google voice invite requests in. There seems to be a new one pop up, from time to time, and it would be best to just have one thread where people can come and request an invite. I do however request that if you come here and request an invite, and someone give you an invite, you come back on here and either delete your posting, or edit it and let people know that you have gotten an invite.

A few other points:

1. It might be easier to have someone who is willing to send an invite to post, and those that need one send a PM requesting one. This keeps people from posting email addresses on a public forum.

2. I requested my Google Voice account some time ago, and it took all of two weeks to get approved, same for my co-worker. I feel that with the release of the HTC Hero, and especially the Droid, this time has exponentially increased.

3. Although Google Voice is impressive, I do not feel an invitation is worth any amount of money, but then again, I'm a cheapskate.

Lets do a reverse Ponzi scheme. You invite him and he'll invite me and I'll invite the next person in the thread until we run out of people to invite and the whole scheme comes crashing down around us and we are left with . . . google voice accounts? Sounds like a sweet deal to me. Madoff, eat your heart out.
