Google Voice

I requested an invite about 5 or 6 months ago from Google and have been patiently waiting. I have even requested an invite 2 or 3 more times since then. Still no Google Voice :sad:.

I'll put my name out there for an invite request myself. I've got GV myself, and have used it to eliminate the need for texting myself. In hindsight though, I probably should have given the invite I received to my wife. She went over her texting limit by 5x in her first month with a Devour!

Thankfully, I've resolved that, but if I could get her on GV, it'd save me a lot of money and aggravation to be sure. Please PM me if anything becomes available!
 
I am among the thousands who would certainly appreciate an opportunity to receive an invite to join the ranks. I have the Droid, a google homepage, gmail, and everything google.......except the invite. I even have 'voice' installed on my phone. I thought that WAS the invite, but I have tried registering the app, and after entering the pin code, the phone runs a progress bar for a little while, them opens a message window that states 'unable to verify phone number' so I'm guessing that to my dismay I'm NOW invited, and need to process an invite in order to enter my phone # via the invite to proceed with connecting and configuring the app. So, THANKS!


P L E A S E - IM me with an invite.
 
I was invited to GV a couple weeks ago. I need more invites. Does anyone know how Google decides what GV members that they give invites to?

P.S. I suppose all the others that got invites would like to know too, so that they can come back and share their invites too. :icon_ banana::icon_ banana::icon_ banana:
 
I'm frustrated at how difficult it is for Android OS users to get a Google Voice account. If anyone has an invite that they would be willing to share, I promise to "pay it forward" when my turn for invites comes around. Thank you in advance!
 
Someone offered one up yesterday. Then when I sent the PM, asked me for $10. Y'know, if you're going to offer one up say you're going to charge. Just comes across as sketchy not saying it ahead of time. Might not be an outright "bait & switch" but it's in the ballpark. Not to mention I've heard you can get them for half that (if you're willing to pay) on eBay. Although I doubt that's what Google intended.

I'd love to get an invite, but only as the last poster mentioned as a 'pay it forward' kind of deal.

Wow I hope that guy feels humiliated by you post. i agree if your going to charge at least say it in the post
 
for some reason, i cant get passed the creating a voicemail on...everytime i set one up, it says it cant find my number...whats up with this?
