anyone here purchased a GV invite from ebay? i'm debating whether i want to. what are the chances that the seller decides to send me a used invite, or just doesn't send anything at all. what's the best way to go about it to make sure i get the invite.

find a seller with feedback that is related to selling the invites - see what other people have dealt with when buying invites from that seller

That's where I got mine!

Got tired is all the "hey I need an invite, hey me too, etc"

Think I paid 3-4 bucks. Received it within a few hours

Mine came from Ebay. I paid $4.99 for it.

Just went to Ebay so I could give you the seller's name....but they are no longer registered. :)

I got the GV account with no problem at all.

I got mine for 4.99 also and it came immediately odd thing tho when I went to leave feedback the account was closed.Must have just had a certain number.the fb score was 17 @ 100% which I am usually leary of but worked fine. Also I heard this from here thats why I even looked on the Bay

The market will bear what people are willing to pay for. They're only selling them because people will buy them.

i bought mine b/c i was to impatient to wait for an actual invite.

so instead of paying for Visual VM every single month, i bought this and don't have to worry about it!!

little off topic, sorry, but how accurate is anyone else's trascriptions? i can either make out a few works to figure out what they are talking about or the transcription won't even come through.

anyone else??

OP here.
i ended up getting an invite elsewhere (thank god i didn't wanna have to pay) i don't get voicemails too much (people mainly text me or call and hang up over and over til i pick up) but from the few voicemails i've received so far, the transcriptions were about 80% correct. mainly what i've noticed being messed up are names, and when someone says the time. everything else seemed pretty accurate. i have yet to have the transcription fail to come in.

I have one if you PM me...first come first serve for free (I really think that it is jacked up for people to charge for these).
