The only problem I have with GV is that it's accessible to everyone now!

No, seriously. I put in for an invite back in January (didn't even own my droid yet!) and promptly forgot about it. Last week I get the welcome email and I think "wow, I'm part of the priviliged elite now!".

Aaaaand they open it up to the public a few days after that. Thanks for taking the wind out of my sails Google! :icon_evil: :icon_evil:

Its ok your probably one of the few new google voicers though that understands it i've had mine for a long time pretty sure i signed up and got accepted on launch day for the droid

I put in for an invite back in January... Last week I get the welcome email and ... they open it up to the public a few days after that.

Two things:

This was probably part of the beta testing - they released a lot of pent-up demand last week to see how well they could handle the sudden rush of registrations. All in preparation to opening it up fully.

Second, look at the bright side. You got your choice of phone numbers earlier than those who waited.

My complaint was more of a tongue-in-cheek thing. I'm happy I got GV finally. I can dump that $5 a month I pay for text messages!

I feel the same, since my fiance also has an android device, granted we could just gtalk but that would require alot of teaching haha
