Google Talk Video for Liberty v0.8

Has anyone been able to successfully use google talk video on liberty GB v0.8? And if so could you point me in the right direction for getting this working? Do I just need to install the apk?

the push from the XDA forums that everyone is using does not work on liberty 0.8. It did work on anything lower though.
