Google search by voice on TELUS milestone help ...

So,

I a have a Telus milestone running on AT&T. Everything is fine and dandy but the Google Search by Voice feature is not there. No Microphone to speak my commands.

I go to the m.google.com site and I can see a the lik which emails me the download for the app. However, whenever I click on the link sent to me by google, I get redirected to regular google site and I cannot grab the app.

has anyone managed to get the search by voice feature installed on a telus milestone? If so, how.

by the way, this is what my phone sends in the http header

Mozilla/5.0 (Linux; U; Android 2.0.1; en-us; Milestone Build/SHOLS_U2_03.06.0)

Does anyone with a droid or non canadian version have the info from the header of their requests that I can compare?
