Google Officially Unveils Nexus 6P; Full Specs, Features, Pricing and Release Date

Google kicked things off by showcasing the new Google Nexus 6P which was designed by Huawei. Here's the full breakdown of specs and features:
  • 5.7-inch AMOLED display with WQHD (2560 x 1440 pixels resolution) pixel density of 518 ppi
  • Octa-core Snapdragon 810 processor with 64-bit architecture
  • 3GB of RAM
  • Dual front-facing stereo speakers
  • Micro USB Type-C port
  • 12.3-megapixel main camera
  • 8-megapixel front-facing selfie camera
  • 3,450 battery
  • 16GB, 64GB or 128GB of storage options
  • Unibody aluminum design
  • 178 gram weight
  • Android 6.0 Marshmallow
  • Compatible with the Project Fi Network
The new Nexus 6P will cost $499.99 (for the 32GB), $549.99 (for the 64GB) and $649 (for the 128GB) off contract. Preorders will begin today in the Google Play store. The phone will be shipping to store shelves and preorder customers later in October.

Exactly. They put the cost of memory on you. I'd rather pay for an SDcard slot.

Right. Some people might only want an extra 16-32 gigs. For someone like me, I'd probably use my 64GB I've got laying around and wait for the price to drop on the 200GB Sandisk card.

Didn't even see the 64GB version - so it's even worse than I said, paying an extra $100 for 64 more gigs when those cards can be had for $30 (if you don't have an extra one, which would be free).
