Hey everyone I just got my droid and was trying to figure out where the google navigator is on my phone that everyone uses. I have the droid not the eris.

Google Maps Navigation for mobile

It is in Google Maps (it will be an option under "get direction" when you select an address or location):

Edit: removed part for clarification.

Eris doesnt have it, but when upgraded to 2.0+ i will be part of the Google maps app. If you search for an address on google maps, you can click on the bubble and it gives you a bunch of options, one of which is "navigate to". Another way is to click on the car dock app. One of the options is a navigation button.

Edit: what kziwarrior said....

I guess what I'm asking is google navigation in shortcuts under direction & navigation or is there a widget or app for it?

? Do you bother to read the responses to your OP?

I'm still trying to figure out why people are talking about the Eris when the OP said he has the Droid. However I will agree that you told the OP where to find it.

D'OH!!!!!!
ROFL... missed that, read it too quickly, thought he said he had an Eris, lol, but still the link I gave and the screen-shot answers his post.
