Google maps 3.4.0--Multitouch

Can some of you guys who are standard OS (no root, no overclock, etc) who have the new Google Maps and "Where" or "Places Directory" try to use the map features from those 2 programs and see if they work?

Love the new Maps, except it now shows my location as at least 2 miles from where I actually am. Before the update, it was always dead on. Not liking that part of the update.

everything on the droid should have pinch zoom, finally they are doing something about it

Places Directory does. Don't have Where installed.
