Google finding Location

on the google mobile homepage, it says location unavailable. I went to settings and it says use location is on. I have my GPS off but it should be able to get the location from the cell towers.

Any ideas?

Go to Setting

Go to Location and security

Either Use Wireless Networks or Use GPS satellites needs to be checked to get your location. If both are unchecked then there is no way to get the information even though "use location" is selected in the browser settings.

i have use wireless networks checked, still says unavailable

mine does this too... although if i turn GPS on it finds me... not a big deal for me tho. if i'm looking for something location related chances are I'm using google maps to find it :)
