Settings/Accounts & Sync/ and make sure your sync is on.

yeah its already on, the event just showed up, for some reason it took a while but at least its there now, thanks!

No problem, syncing from the google calendar to the phone should never be an issue. Glad it worked out for you.

I have noticed that sometimes there is a delay of up to 15 minutes for the sync to occur. Most of the time it is immediate. This occasional delay is not a problem for me.
