Google Calendar Sync fills my Deleted folder in Outlook

Maybe this isn't a *Droid* problem. If someone can tell me the right place to put it, I'd be grateful.

I have Google Calendar Sync running on my work computer doing two-way synchronization of my Google Calendar from my Outlook calendar. My Deleted folder in Outlook is filling up with deleted events. There are nearly 4,000 there now after I deleted a huge swath of them. What's up with that?

If you had any recurring events / appointments and you deleted the entire series, then it's probably counting each one as a separate item. I don't know if this is avoidable or not.

I could cope with that. What I'm seeing is that every time the synchronization runs, I get hundreds of different events added to my Deleted folder.

Well that's weird. I don't know what could be causing that.
