Google bar missing

At one time after the 2.1 update I had a Google search bar with a voice icon beside it on my main screen. After deleting some apps and a reboot it is gone. I think I deleted it by mistake. How do I get it back?

Long press on the homescreen, and find it under widgets

Thanks. I looked for it there but didn't see it. I now see that it is Search.
