The Ink haven't even dried on the Samsung Google cross licensing agreement yet and Google is still making moves. Google and Cisco have entered into a long term patent agreement with each other which is a move to continue innovation without the threat of litigation.
It is obvious that Google is getting tired of the patent trolls and they are not going to sit around and wait for government agencies to help out. The moves made by Google in the past few years have been to protect their brand while continuing to promote Google, whether through Android or Chrome OS, further. I also can not help to think that Google has something big in store for us soon.

I love seeing this. You can see which companies care more about innovation and not about rounded corners.
