GolfLogix, golf GPS question ?

new to droid. downloaded the golflogix app and installed it. on startup it goes thru the motions and looks ok till it downloads course info. it takes 3-4 minutes. then an error about the GPS not working or something.

i did get it to work once and it said i was 740K yards away and i was about 250 away tops. i checked the settings and its set for yards not feet.

downloaded a free golf gps app and it doesnt work at all.

VZW navigator works fine.

any ideas ?

Make sure the GPS is on I guess. Pretty obvious, i know, but I thought VZ navigator ran off the network and not a GPS, so it could work even when gps is off.

i think the find the nearest starbucks GPS app was causing my issue. deleted the starbucks app and it works now

This may be a bit off topic, but FreeCaddie is a great app for those looking for an inexpensive golf gps program.
