Just thought i'd share my story of how much of an idiot I am.
Got my bionic last night and was so excited, and tired, that when I finally rooted it I hit restore all in titanium backup from a backup on my Droid 2 global. well suddenly I County have a signal and my bionic its asking if I want to use global or gsm.... wtf. To tired to fix it I went to bed.
Got up this morning and I had to fxz it completely then try to remember Howe to do a factory reset. Finally found it in the settings menuand its working again. Goods take a bit more time restoring it next time.
The moral? Pay attention to what the hell you are doing, especially late at night with a new phone.
