Gmail Notification interval adjustment???

Is there a way to adjust the frequency of getting new mail notifications on my Moto Droid? I'd rather get notified of new emails once an hour or so rather than everytime I get a new email, which is like every 5 minutes.

Sorry if this has been asked before but I did a search and couldn't find anything.

You could turn off the auto sync & manually hit the refresh button. I usually do that at night. No need to hear email notifications in the middle of the night.

Good idea. I'll do that. Just wish there was a way to set timing though.
