Gmail force close

Ever since the froyo update, my phone has been a lot more glitchy. However, I was fine until today when gmail decided to not work. No matter what I do (take out sim card, turn off and on, etc) gmail still force close everytime.

Clear data/ force stop (manage applications) and then try again......
