Gmail Attachment issue

I sent myself a couple of emails with attachments to gmail account. 1 was a zip containing setting profiles.
the other was a zip containing jpgs.

in both cases the email arrived looking like below. (notice the lack of preview or save buttons)

I cannot choose preview or save or anything. I just had a droid 1 and never had this issue with attachments in fact gmail was my preferred way of getting attachments because it was so easy. i installed es file explorer and astro explorer and download all. (all suggested other places to enable gmail to handle the attachments)

nothing worked. if I log on to web I see the attachments. also if I forward my gmail email to my k9 email. I can open and view from there.

any ideas?

There is no pic (in your image). And I'm not suggesting you add one. I'm just pointing out that for images displayed inline, its in an odd place.
