DC Metro...
i think you can download the gingerbread launcher on Market, but gingerbread itself has not been released... unless your rooted... then there are a couple ROMs floating around built off it.

I like my Sense launcher better.
I'm not a big fan of my browser being embedded on the home screen at the expense of a big phone button, I use all 7 of my Sense screens.
I do prefer the non 3d app drawer though over the Sense one

Not for a long time. Dont expect it for another 4 months at least. Just dont think about it IMO because its not coming for a long time and dont be surprised if it does not come at all. Verizon is well know for not delivering on its upgrade promises on phones which get slightly dated. With the massive flood of new phones coming VERY soon the Incredible will be discontinued all together and with Verizons track record there is a chance there will be no upgrade at all.

I've had a feeling that Verizon would drag their heels with our phone with all the new ones coming out. Although I just read an article, I could be wrong but I believe it was in Consumer Reports, that stated that Verizon was better than any other wireless provider at getting Android updates passed onto its customers... and that Dinc owners were among the luckiest.

I'd like to think that us Dinc owners will get at least one more update before our phone is put out to pasture. When that time arrives I'll root my phone to get whatever updates I'm interested in.
